Exodus: The Exodus was God’s deliverance of Israel from slavery in Egypt under Moses, culminating in the Passover, the crossing of the Red Sea, and the covenant at Sinai. It is also the name of the Bible’s second book and serves as a major pattern of redemption later fulfilled more completely in Christ.
