To hear the Biden regime and their race-baiting Neo-Marxist allies, you’d think America’s greatest sin is racism. And indeed, true racism—prejudice against another human being based on skin color—is an affront to the image of God and must be condemned wherever it is found.
But racism is not the fountainhead of America’s rebellion. It is a bitter fruit, not the root.
The greatest sin of this nation is the wholesale rejection of God and His moral order. From that defiance flows a cascade of depravity, cruelty, and confusion. One of the most glaring and bloody manifestations of this apostasy is abortion—the state-sanctioned murder of our most vulnerable neighbors: unborn children.
This post explores why abortion is not just a grievous moral evil but the defining sin of our age—an indictment of a culture in full rebellion against its Creator. It reveals the worldview behind the abortion movement, the complicity of political actors and courts, and the cowardice of much of the professing church. It also issues a call to repentance and action.
God’s Design: Life, Image, and Dominion
The Christian worldview begins with the Creator. Genesis 1:27 tells us that “God created man in his own image… male and female he created them” (ESV). Humanity was made to reflect God’s glory, to exercise dominion over creation, and to multiply—to fill the earth with other image-bearers who glorify Him.
Marriage and family are not human inventions; they are divine institutions meant to nurture life, train righteousness, and cultivate a culture of godliness and gratitude. Children are not obstacles to personal fulfillment or disposable commodities—they are gifts from God (Psalm 127:3).
Abortion is the total inversion of God’s design. Where God says “be fruitful and multiply,” abortion says “kill and consume.” Where God says children are a blessing, abortionists say they are a burden. And where God breathes life, abortionists deal in death.
The Sin of Abortion: A Rebellion Against the Image of God
Abortion does not exist in a vacuum. It is a product of a hardened, self-centered, God-hating heart—a heart that suppresses the truth in unrighteousness (Romans 1:18). It is not merely a political issue. It is spiritual war.
Every child in the womb bears the image of God. To murder such a child is an act of defiance against the One who made him or her.
It is also an act of profound cowardice. Abortion is a sin committed against the utterly defenseless. These are not combatants. They are not criminals. They are the most helpless among us. To justify their slaughter under the euphemism of “choice” is to cover evil with a lie. And make no mistake: it is a lie that Satan, the father of lies and murderer from the beginning, delights in.
Who Are the Participants?
Let us name the participants in this bloodshed plainly.
1. Parents – The ones who should protect and cherish their children are now legally permitted to commission their death. Since Roe v. Wade (1973), over 65 million unborn lives have been extinguished in America. Even after Dobbs v. Jackson (2022) overturned Roe, many states doubled down on “abortion rights,” and nearly 900,000 unborn children continue to die each year.
2. Medical Professionals – Doctors and nurses who swore an oath to “do no harm” are now executioners. In some cases, they knowingly deceive. Ultrasound technicians may be instructed to show images that obscure the humanity of the unborn—avoiding clear shots of faces, limbs, or movement, opting instead for blurry blobs that comfort the guilty conscience.
3. Legislators and Judges – Lawmakers codify the murder of the innocent, and judges uphold these atrocities with arbitrary and unscientific standards—such as granting “personhood” only after the third trimester. Many of these politicians call themselves Christians, yet vote repeatedly for abortion funding and expansion.
4. Abortion Advocates – The public face of the abortion movement is often snarling, shrieking, and full of rage—witness the protests outside of Supreme Court justices’ homes after the Dobbs leak. Many of them belong to the radical left: Neo-Marxists, eugenicists, militant atheists, and unhinged feminists who hate the authority of God and the design of His created order.
The hypocrisy is astounding. They call their opponents “Nazis” while facilitating a genocide of their own. Abortion, in raw numbers and in ideology, is a holocaust—the slaughter of innocents to serve a totalitarian vision of human autonomy without God.
The Targets: Who Are the Victims?
Abortion’s victims are many. The unborn child is, of course, the primary victim. But consider the disproportionate targeting of minority communities:
- Black children are aborted at 3–4 times the rate of white children.
- Many abortion centers are strategically located in urban neighborhoods with large black and Latino populations.
- Abortion is a tool of eugenics—used to eliminate Down syndrome, spina bifida, and even the “wrong” sex. Where is the left’s concern for “inclusion” and “equity” when babies are aborted for not fitting a parent’s vision of perfection?
We are told that the left cares about the oppressed. Then why are they silent while the voiceless are slaughtered?
Cowardice in Red States and the Betrayal of the Church
Even in Republican-dominated states like Indiana, abortion was legal up to 22 weeks until recently. Why is that?
Why, after 50 years of rhetoric about “life,” are Republican leaders not advancing abolition bills instead of gestational limits?
Are we witnessing a political bait-and-switch? Have pro-life Christians merely become voting blocs to be exploited every two years?
Worse, many professing Christians—including prominent pastors and entire denominations—have caved to the spirit of the age. Some hide behind the excuse of being “non-political.” Others try to justify voting for pro-abortion Democrats by appealing to “nuance” and “compassion.” This is moral compromise dressed in theological jargon.
Contrast this with the early church. Roman society routinely practiced infanticide, abandoning unwanted infants in public places. Christians rescued these babies, raised them, and challenged the culture of death with a culture of life.
The Democrat Party: Champions of Death
Let us be clear: the Democratic Party has enshrined abortion as a sacrament.
- In 2019, 93% of Democrat senators, including Vice President Kamala Harris (a professing Christian) and members of “The Squad,” voted against the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act (S.311), which would have required doctors to provide life-saving care to infants who survived abortion.
- Former President Biden, a professing Roman Catholic, vowed to codify Roe into federal law, repeal the Hyde Amendment, and use taxpayer dollars to fund abortion at home and abroad.
- The party’s platform proudly supports abortion on demand, with no limits, for any reason, at any stage of pregnancy.
This is not “safe, legal, and rare.” This is a death cult.
The Need for Repentance and Revival
I do not believe this evil generation will abolish abortion by political will alone. Our nation is under judgment. Isaiah’s lament is ours: “Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands far away” (Isaiah 59:14, ESV).
We must pray for revival. The hearts of millions must be regenerated by the Holy Spirit. The stony heart must be replaced with a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26).
But revival does not happen in silence. Christians must proclaim truth, expose evil, and call for repentance. We must plead for the lives of the unborn. We must challenge our representatives, protest our government’s involvement in abortion (including foreign aid tied to it), and equip our churches to stand firm.
What Can You Do?
- Contact Your Representatives – Call your state and federal legislators. Demand abortion abolition, not compromise. Oppose the use of tax dollars to fund abortion domestically or abroad.
- Vote with Discernment – Never vote for a candidate who supports child sacrifice. Silence is complicity.
- Speak Out in Your Church – Encourage your pastor to address abortion from the pulpit. If he won’t, lovingly challenge him to lead.
- Support Pro-Life Ministries – Pregnancy centers, sidewalk counselors, and post-abortion healing ministries need your prayers and your support.
- Share the Truth – Use your platforms. Share videos, articles, and resources exposing abortion for what it is.

Conclusion: Flee to Christ
Abortion is not just a political issue. It is spiritual war. The shedding of innocent blood is not ignored by the Judge of all the earth. “The Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him” (Isaiah 30:18, ESV).
To those who have participated in abortion—there is forgiveness in Christ. His blood speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). But repentance is required. You must turn.
Flee to Christ. Do not delay.
