nuncmillennialism: Another name for amillennialism that emphasizes that the millennium is occurring now—nunc being Latin for “now.” It interprets the thousand years of Revelation 20 symbolically as Christ’s present heavenly reign during the period between His first and second comings. I prefer this term over amillennialism.
