Systematic theology is the discipline that gathers, organizes, and synthesizes everything the Bible teaches about specific doctrines into a coherent and logically ordered whole. Rather than following the historical unfolding of revelation, it arranges biblical teaching by topics—such as God, humanity, sin, Christ, salvation, the church, and last things—to present the full counsel of Scripture on each subject. Its aim is to formulate a consistent, biblically faithful statement of Christian doctrine that can be taught, defended, and applied.
